At IBC2026, we are putting the manifold name firmly in front of that technology – and taking its capabilities significantly further.
We are expanding manifold CLOUD to support 400GE COTS FPGA accelerator cards, delivering a level of density that fundamentally changes what is possible in software-defined live production.
400GE is not simply about a bigger number.
It is about giving Tier One broadcasters the processing density to support increasingly ambitious productions without allowing the physical infrastructure behind them to grow at the same rate. More processing within less rack space. Greater efficiency. And the ability to scale while maintaining the deterministic performance that live production demands.
That combination of software-defined flexibility and FPGA acceleration has always been central to the manifold philosophy.
We were among the early vendors promoting this approach, and one of the major trends we expect to see at IBC2026 is the continued industry move towards software-defined production. As the market becomes increasingly crowded, we see that adoption as validation of the direction we have pursued from the beginning.
But innovation cannot exist in isolation. 400GE may provide extraordinary density, but density only matters when it translates into something genuinely useful for broadcasters. Sustainable innovation needs to combine new technological possibilities with an understanding of real production environments and the reliability those environments demand.
That balance between experience and the freedom to think differently is important to us.
Operating under the manifold name gives us the opportunity to make bolder choices and explore what software-defined production can become, while decades of engineering experience provide the foundation beneath those choices.
We have already seen the results in the field. Manifold technology has been present at some of the biggest global sports events, including the recently concluded major international tournament in North America. In some cases, our solutions were supplied temporarily for the duration of the event.
The next step is to explore how some of those deployments can become permanent installations, while continuing to develop our rental/OPEX operations to provide greater flexibility to Tier One providers.
Whether a broadcaster is testing the waters through a lease arrangement or committing to a long-term deployment, the principle remains the same: deterministic performance, software-defined flexibility and infrastructure that can scale as production requirements grow.
At IBC2026, 400GE takes that philosophy considerably further.
